The valve is not closed tightly, what should I pay attention to in daily maintenance?
2021-07-02During the entire application process of the valve, there will be some confusing problems, such as the valve cannot be closed tightly or closed. What should I do?
Under normal circumstances, if the valve is not closed tightly, first determine whether the valve is closed in time. If the valve is closed in time, there is still leakage and cannot be sealed, you can check the condition of the raised surface. Some valves have a removable seal, so you can take them out to grind and experiment again. If it is still not closed tightly, you must repair it or replace the valve to prevent problems such as jeopardizing the normal application of the valve and occurrence of load safety accidents.
If the valve does not close tightly, you should first find out where the problem is, and then deal with it in a relative way.
The reasons why the valve does not close tightly usually have the following categories
(1) There are residues stuck on the protruding surface, and dirt is accumulated at the bottom of the valve or between the valve clack and the high-pressure gate valve;
(2) The external thread of the valve stem is corroded and the valve cannot be rotated;
(3) The protruding surface of the valve is destroyed, causing material leakage;
(4) The valve stem and the valve clack are not well connected, so that the valve clack and the high pressure gate valve can not be touched tightly.
The solution to the valve not closing tightly
1. There is residue stuck on the valve protruding surface
Sometimes the valve does not close tightly, it will be the residue stuck between the protruding surfaces of the valve. At this time, do not use force to force it to close. You should try to close the valve slightly, and then try to close it again. It can be cleared, otherwise, another inspection should be carried out. The quality of the material should also be kept clean.
Second, the external thread of the valve stem is corroded
For valves that are generally open, when they are inadvertently closed, because the external thread of the valve stem has already been rusted, it will not close tightly. In view of this situation, you can keep the power on and off the valve several times and hit the bottom of the oil circuit board with a small hammer together to close the valve tightly without grinding and repairing the valve.
3. The protruding surface of the valve is destroyed
Regarding the situation where the power switch still cannot be turned off after several attempts, if the protrusion is wrong, or the protrusion is damaged by erosion or particle scratches in the material, this situation should be reported to the problem.
Fourth, the valve stem and the valve clack are not well connected
In this case, grease must be added to the valve stem and the valve stem nut to ensure that the valve's power switch is flexible. There must be a set of reliable maintenance plan, and the maintenance work of the lift valve is in progress.
